Kaiser Permanente North Baltimore Medical Center will be a new hub facility for the Kaiser Permanente health system in Maryland. The $247 million, five-story facility was designed to offer patients a one-stop site for their healthcare needs and includes primary care, urgent care, specialty surgery care, pharmacy, and advanced imaging. An adjacent 1,025-car parking structure provides patients and their families with easy and safe access to the facility.

FlexFacades was engaged by the project architect early on in the project to provide design assistance and engineering. Additionally, we provided fabrication and installation for a signature ventilated FlexFacade Streched Panel system using a Type 1A Mesh with custom colors parking garage facade. The bright color panels create a joyful visual that reflects the overall facility atmosphere of optimism and good health. With an opacity of 34%, the FlexFacades cladding allows natural light into the garage while maintaining natural ventilation.
