An existing office building was transformed into a medical office building that provides comprehensive health care. As part of the adaptive reuse, FlexFacades designed, engineered, fabricated, and installed a custom FlexFacades parking garage screening. The contractor chose a FlexFacades solution for its surface-mounted system, which uses significantly less steel than traditional facade systems. The opacity of the type 1A ventilated PES mesh maintains natural air ventilation through the parking garage while providing an attractive facade screening element. The custom-printed graphics carry through the “grove of trees” design element in the main atrium, reinforcing the overall theme of wellness.
