This city-owned parking garage houses municipal vehicles including police fleets and ambulances. The city needed a cost-effective solution for facade screening, so we worked directly with the architects to develop a series of stretch panels that required less structural framework than other cladding options. The panels cover three sides of the structure; on the fourth side we used a minimally framed full-screen cladding that allows for 100% air flow between all sides of the garage. The use of white vertical columns is a reference to the columns of the nearby city buildings.
