The 1,000-room Diplomat Beach Resort is part of the Curio Collection by Hilton brand of luxury destination hotels. In keeping with the hotel’s modern aesthetic, the owners sought to incorporate a facade for the parking garage that was visually pleasing while also providing ventilation. FlexFacades was brought in by the project architect in the value-engineering phase to provide a more cost-effective solution to the original metal facade. We provided design and design-assist of the 25,000-square foot FlexFacades tensile fabric screening, as well as engineering, fabrication, and installation. The client was able to meet all of the design requirements and realize significant cost savings.
